My life as a veggie #1

It's Monday uuuugh.

But today was a special Monday for me and my friend Emma (not Emma from the blog).

Today we decided to stop eating meat, although we will continue eating fish.

I think this challenge won't be such a big problem for me as I don't really like meat.
But I have to admit that I will miss some of it, but I think that I'll allow myself sometimes to eat it. It's not mentally healthy otherwise haha.
Emma is a real carnivore, but I'm sure she will survive too!

We will be veggies until her birthday party on the 18th, after that specific date, well, we'll see...

Why are we doing this?

1. It's really healthy
2. It would prevent cancer
3. It helps you to get rid of your acne (++)

4. Trying something new is good

5. Variation is good
6. We love animals, but to be honest: that's not our main reason

Are you or have you ever tried being a vegetarian?If so, I'd love to hear some nice recepies.

Sales adventures

Hey girls!

Yesterday I went shopping with one of my best friends Eva and for the change we didn't go to Antwerp but we hopped on the train to our capital Brussels. We don't know Brussels that good but I thought that everything would work out quite well with some help from a touristic guide. Unfortunately we seem to suck in reading carts and finding the road and when we asked people to help us they spoke English, even if they were living in Brussels for more than 16 years. Wouldn't it be time to learn one of our three languages? Right ... We decided to take the metro and because we were so happy to finally sit down we took it in the wrong direction, Murphy's law was in the game haha. In the end we found all the stores we wanted to see and we found our way back home :)

Birthday presents | 17

As I told you, I turned 17 last Saturday. My family is not the biggest, so I didn't get that much gifts, but I think they are really great :) And in the evening, I went for some food at a local spot with my friends :) I'm really curious because some of the gifts didn't arrive yet... I had an awesome day!

college: don't know what or where yet, but 2013 will say that to me!

Italy: going to Italy with almost all the seniors in April
moving out: going to live in the city where I will study
new friends: making new friends at college
picture my life: take pictures more regularly
